You uploaded a design. Nice work!
Next, make sure it landed in your Library, looks right, and is easy to find later.
A Design Pod is the home for one design: its files, tags, notes, and thumbnail.
This short checklist pairs with our upload videos (File Upload, Uploading multiple designs, and Overview). Use the video for the walk-through, and this page for a calm text checklist.
Overview
After upload, EEganizer saves your design as a Design Pod.
Use this guide to:
1. Find the new Design Pod (and wait if it is still processing).
2. Clear filters that might hide it.
3. Review tags, notes, and the thumbnail.
4. Try one download so you know the path works.
5. Start small if this is your first library.
1. Wait for Uploading / processing if needed
Large batches can take a few minutes.
Look for an Uploading section or tab in your Library. New Design Pods can sit there while thumbnails finish.
If nothing appears yet:
1. Give it a few minutes.
2. Refresh the Library.
3. Then continue with the steps below.
You do not need to upload your whole embroidery collection in one go.
2. Find the new Design Pod
Newest Design Pods usually appear near the top of the Library when sort is set to newest first.
If you do not see the design:
1. Click Clear Selections near the top left. This turns off filters, search chips, and Faves that may still be on.
2. Search by part of the design name.
3. Or filter by Product Type, Designer, Category, or Sub-Category, only after you clear first, so you know what is active.
Example: For a design named Row of Wheelbarrows, search Wheelbarrows, or filter by Embroidery and the designer name.

3. Open Design Pod Details
Hover over the Design Pod card and click View Pod Details (or click the thumbnail).
On the Details page you can review:
- Thumbnail image
- Title
- Product Type, Designer, Categories, and Sub-Categories
- Notes
- All folders and files inside the Design Pod

4. Review tags
Tags help you find the design again later.
1. Check Product Type, Designer, Category, and Sub-Category.
2. Click Edit Pod Tags if anything needs fixing.
3. Choose the right tags, then click Apply Tags.
Tip: A simple tagging habit (designer + one category) makes a big library much easier to search.
5. Add a quick note (optional)
Notes are optional, but handy.
You might jot down:
- Thread colors you like
- Stabilizer notes
- Who the project is for
- Where you bought the design
- A stitching tip you want to remember
Click inside the notes box, type, then click Save.
6. Check the thumbnail
The thumbnail is the picture on the Design Pod card in your Library.
If it looks wrong or blank:
1. Open the Design Pod.
2. Use the thumbnail tools to add, edit, rotate, or set the representative image.
The representative image is the main picture EEganizer shows for that design.

7. Try one download
Before you move on, download one file so you know the path works.
1. In Design Pod Details, find the machine format you need (PES, DST, JEF, and so on).
2. Click the green Download button next to that file.
3. Check your computer's Downloads folder.
Folder Structure View shows files grouped the way you uploaded them. Files List View shows a flat list. That helps when you are hunting one format.
Need several designs at once? Use the left-side Download files button on the Library page instead.

8. First library tip: start with one folder
If this is your first big organize day, start with one folder (one designer, one season, or one USB folder copied to your computer).
When that Design Pod looks right (tags, thumbnail, one successful download), add the next folder.
Limits to remember for later uploads:
- Each single file can be up to 50 MB.
- You can include up to 12,000 files in one upload.

Common snags
- I cannot find what I just uploaded. Click Clear Selections first. Check the Uploading area. Wait a few minutes on a large batch, then refresh.
- The thumbnail looks wrong. Open the Design Pod and set the representative image.
- Tag or note changes disappeared. Click Apply Tags for tags, and Save for notes.
- Download did not start. Allow downloads from EEganizer, pause blockers for the site, try another browser, and check Downloads again.
