Need to clean up a Design Pod? You can delete one file, several files, or the whole Design Pod from your Library.

A Design Pod is the home for one design: its files, notes, tags, and thumbnail.

Please read this first: once you click Confirm, a delete cannot be undone. Take a moment to make sure you have the right file or Design Pod. If you might need the file again, download a backup first.

Step 1: Open Design Pod Details

From your Library, find the Design Pod. Hover over the card and click View Pod Details (or click the thumbnail).

Step 2: Choose what to delete

  • Need to remove one machine format, such as DST or PES? Delete only that file.
  • Need to remove several files from the same Design Pod? Select them, then delete together.
  • Uploaded the whole design by mistake? Delete the Design Pod.

Still in the middle of an upload and the Design Pod is not in your Library yet? See Design Pod Editor.

Step 3: Delete one file

  1. On the Design Pod Details page, click Files List View.
  2. Find the file you want to remove.
  3. Click Delete on the same row as that file.
  4. Read the confirmation message carefully. It names the file you are about to delete.
  5. Click Confirm only if you are sure. Changed your mind? Click Cancel.

Tip: Double-check the file name and format (for example PES, DST, JEF, EXP, HUS, VIP, VP3, or XXX) before you confirm.

Step 4: Delete several files at once

  1. On the Design Pod Details page, click Folder Structure View.
  2. Find the files you want to remove.
  3. Check the box in the Delete Request column for each file.
  4. Click Delete Selected.
  5. Read the confirmation message carefully. It tells you how many files are about to be deleted.
  6. Click Confirm only if you are sure. Changed your mind? Click Cancel.

Step 5: Delete the entire Design Pod

Use this only when you want to remove the whole Design Pod from your Library.

  1. Open the Design Pod Details page.
  2. Click Delete Pod near the top of the page.
  3. Read the confirmation message carefully.
  4. Click Confirm only if you are sure. Changed your mind? Click Cancel.

Deleting the Design Pod removes it from your Library, including the files, notes, tags on that pod, and thumbnail. This cannot be undone.

Good to know

  • Deleting a file removes that file from the Design Pod. Deleting a Design Pod removes the whole pod.
  • Need the design back after a delete? Upload the same files again as a new Single Design Pod. EEganizer does not block them as duplicates.
  • If you do not see the file you want, try switching between Folder Structure View and Files List View. Files List View is often easier when you are looking for one format.
  • Delete options show on the Design Pod Details page. They are not on every Library view.
